The LRT voice told what is behind her microphone

The Longly Ignored Voices
The Longly Ignored Voices

“I thought she would be prettier,” Wendy Mok Sin-yu quotes an ordinary passenger, travelling ordinarily on an ordinary train, who was asked about the voice in the public announcement.

The voice is always an important component when it comes to public transportation.

Whether you are a tourist or a local citizen, you need these guidances: what station this is, when the train is arriving, where I can change trains or buses, which way I am going, and when the train is arriving. Many of them are from a voice of the public announcement.

Who the guide is and owns the voice, however, have always been the least frequently asked question.

In this vibrant city, people are too busy to pay attention to the nearby environment.

With the expansion of the LRT system, Wendy is now mainly the voice of routes in Tin Shui Wai.
