The LRT voice told what is behind microphone
Her Voice Is Here and There
Wendy is currently one of the “whos” of the Light Rail Transit (LRT) system, which serves the north-western part of the New Territories.
Interestingly, you can find her voice somewhere else if you have ever paid attention to the surroundings.
She may be heard in lifts, bank hotlines, and even advertisements.
“I feel sorry for my ex-boyfriends who may still be ‘bombarded’ by my voice after break up,” she jokes.
Her husband even gave up an apartment because it was her voice in the lift.
“He said he did not want to hear me everywhere,” she says in laughter.
She says the bank hotlines bring her a stable income since the banks have to find her when changing anything.
On screen, she voice-acted for several famous movies, such as Jessie in Toy Story 2.
She, nevertheless, is not suitable to work for tender female protagionists due to her thick voice.
She says she once dubbed for a beautiful and she has to twist her body much to make the soft voice. What kinds of character one can dub is somehow a gift, according to her.
